Time for Christmas came to the Sweet Household. One of my favorite oranments is Santa, holding a sign that says "Merry Christmas Heather". I do, I do, I do believe in Santa!
Getting ready for Black Friday is never an easy task. My manager Amanda works up to 60-85 in a week, not every 2 weeks, in a week. During her break today on the crazy day, I got her taking a snooze. Poor Ms. Amanda is as tired as she could be.
Casey and his race cars. Not only does he race them, he builds the ones what he drives. When he isn't racing, he is working on race cars for other racers.
Today, we did Executive Portraits for Advanced Portraiture. I got the Surgery Director Mrs. T.C Parker. We had fun with the dummy and the tools that she would use in a real surgery. Hopefully Mrs.Harkins will like it and I will get a good grade!!
My little cousin Ayden, wanted to get his picture made this weekend cause his new little brother was getting his done. He was a little ham in front of the camera. He's going to be a heartbreaker one day....... ladies watch out!
I took pictures this weekend of my new baby cousin Camden. Out of the 200 pictures I took of the family, my cousin, Heidi, favorite picture was the one of her new baby boy's feet.
Since it was the last weekend we would do Holiday Portraits, my boyfriend, Casey, and I got ours done!! Thanks for all the peeps that helped to make our picture look great!
My friend Heather Well's mother is doing a cook book for Heather and her 2 sisters and her little brother for christmas. Yet, she wants the cover to be pictures of her her as the subject, but in something that relates to the girls and baby Cal. My fave one for Cal is Elmo and Mrs. Wells looking at a cook book. Hope he likes mommy and Elmo on the front of his cook book.
I took this picture of Jenna, a little girl at my church. She just happens to be a teacher from high school little girl, and she's so sweet. Jenna never really smiles much, that's just her personality. She's very quite but a lovely child.
Michelle Glass interviewed me for Mr. Jones Class. Check it out!! Learn more about me, listen to my voice, and see how Michelle asked questions!!

Since I am doing my final four on ballet, I found this video of a girl getting her photos done, and she just happens to be a ballerina. Her photos are posted, which mine can't be. The girls and boys have to be doing their everyday practice when I take the shot.
For final four in Ms. Finch's class I am doing ballet. I was very excited about how there were 2 teenage boys in the ballet class. The sad thing was that they were better then half the girls there. Let's see photography boys do this!!
Yes, this photo was taking awhile back. Yet, the photographer who photographed this photo has been in the fashion world for awile as well. Stewart Shining is a New-Based fashion photographer who's worked on many photo shoots with Abercrombie & Fitch, J Crew, produced many covers for Rolling Stone. when People magazine posted "World's Most Beautiful Person" he was choosen as the photograpger. I would love to work with him one day....ONE DAY!!
Yes, today was a cloudy/rainy day, yet somehow I was able to get my fashion photo done. I went down to Atlanta to take pictures of my friend Alanna. We had a great time walking around and finding random places to take photos at! Hopefully Mrs. Harkins will like ONE of out the 50-75 that I took!
For Mr. Jones' Class we had to interview someone in our class. I interviewed the amazing photographer student, Ms. Katie Darby. We talked about holidays, class that she has this year, her favorite class, and what she plans to do with her photography later in life. Hope you enjoy!
At his last game of high school, Josh Martin watches from the sidelines at his teams win against the Northview Titans. North came out this season with a 5-5 record. The best North Forsyth has done since the 2005 season. It was a great win for the boys.
Coming back from Photo Barn today during school, Michelle, Brian, and I saw some spot new. At a local gas station in Gwinnett, 5 teenagers were arrested for possible "a stolen car." 7 police cars were on the scene. Yet, the police could not give us all the details due to the teenagers being under age. The officers on the cast was Office Bail, and Office Landress. This photo was taken by Michelle Glass, who was the only one who had her camera. Brian and I just thought it was a fast trip to photo barn. We learned now to always have your camera with you no matter where you go. Great job Michelle. It was a trip we will all remember.
Today was Casey Carden's last race for this 2008 season in this race car season. I made him model for one of my photojournalism assignments. He was leading 4th into the 10th lap, but then the car got away from him and ran into the wall. Thank God he was ok, cause as a nervous girlfriend seeing her boyfriend crash isn't the best thing. When most people say the word "Bar", drinking might come into mind. Yet, as a dancer, the word bar means more. Holding your balance is the main thing that a bar does in ballet.
Alex Majoli, a photojournalist takes about "living in the moment." Talking about how a picture can give life and meaning to something much bigger then the world "war" itself.
History was made last night. American will have her first black president. For photojournalism we had to go take pictures of post-election. I went to a local voting spot that happens to be a church. There were McCain signs everywhere, and there happen to be one in front of the grave yard. I shot this to give on irony to history. Though McCain is not dead, he and trys to become president are over and Obama is the 44th president.

At my church's fall festive we had a game where the kid would throw the ball and hit the cans. I got behind the cans and got some shot of kids hitting it. It was really cool and fun to see the kids try so hard to get all 3 cans down, it wasn't fun to get hit with the ball and a camera in hand too. Here is Hunter Adams trying to get all 3 cans down.
I don't have a laptop yet, but now that Photoshop CS4 came out, I think that is what I will put on it. CS3 has became something in the past. Things in photoshop CS4 that have been enhanced is depth of field, layers, better raw images, and the new adjustments panel. Things just get better with techonlogy in the world.
