Our photo class went to Mrs. Harkins' friend Mr. Jing house last Friday. His basement became a classroom for photography with all the collects that he had collected through the years.

Grainy...Like or No?

Mrs. Finch today helped me with my open assignment. We made the photo more grainy then it was before. Give it an old feeling.  Something different to put on the table. I have never turned in a photo that was grainy but there is a first time for everything.

Portfolio Review

Today was my portfolio review with Mrs. Harkins and Ms. Finch. I got section A done with, so that's exciting. Now I need to work on the next sections. I know it will be hard work, yet I am ready to work for what I want and get the best photos I can. Because of my review and taking with my teachers, I know which diction I need to go in to get those photos done.

Ribbons and Mixer

Back to commerical photography, this time we had to do sprites, wine, or beer. Since I am not yet 21, I did a mixer. Lime Green, sour apple, mixer. With lime green, pink, and yellow ribbon and it on a orange background. With Mrs. Harkins help, we added a red gel and got it look more "Advance". This also looks better on film then it does on my camera, but I wanted a photo to show on my blog.

Hand and Hand

For our portfolio development class we have an "open assignment" for out first. We can do whatever we want. Photojournalism, wedding, sports. I got an idea from 2007 Photojournalism Seminar. I wanted to give it my our twist but still liked the idea about how you could only see the feet in the photo. I used my friend Katie and her boyfriend, John, to get my idea to come to life. To show the the boots, the high-heels, and holding hands, but still gives you a feeling that a solider is either leaving or coming home. Check out more on my flickr account by clicking HERE

Diet Pills For Photography

For commerical photography today we had to shoot still life. I picked out diet pills for my still life wrapped around measuring tape. Yet, the sercet is...there were not really diet pills. I just used red pills around my house to use them as. I don't have diet pill, either did I want to go out and buy some for this project. It was a lot of fun and the red gel under the light table really helped out.

Blast from the Past

My first table top that I did in my photography school seems so long ago yet it wasn't. Its amazing how far you can come in a year. Here is my clarinet that I used for table top number 1.

Heels and Boots

I did a photo shoot today with my friend Katie and her boyfriend, John. With lots of laughs and "John, keep your eyes open", it turned out to be a great day with Katie's heels and John's boots.

During the GHSA in the 5-A high school football Camden Vs. Peachtree Ridge, good game, yet for the 2nd year in a row, Camden High School came on top.
