Hero

My Hero. Maggie "Patsy" Seabolt. My grandmother. Getting her to take a picture is harder then pulling teeth. Yet, I told her I need a photo of older people for school. So if it is for school, she would do it. I got her to take a lot but she doesn't like to smile, but this is one of the better shots. I don't think any of the shots are good enough for my portfolio but the picture of her is better then anything I could ever ask for.

The Lone Cowgirl

The assignment for this weekend was called southern living. I got my friend Channing to model for me but I couldn't show her face. I got the cowgirl hat to cover it, which gave it more of a misty look. Something like the lone cowgirl, instead of the lone ranger.

Pumpkin-Seed Trout

On Wednesday, the photo class went down to do commerical food photography. We all paired up with someone from the culinarty arts program and talked about the food and our ideas for the food. I got pumpkin-seed trout as my food. After changing the idea 3 different times, finally came up with just having the trout on a white triangle plate with lime around it, on wood. This is how my photo came out! Hope you like it!

Gaby

Yesterday, my friend Gaby was my model for my portrait assignment. I found a place that looked like it was burned down and wanted to shoot her there. I got her into an white dress to be the pure beautiful subject around all the mess and burned down chammy's. She such a beautiful girl, and I thank her very much for doing this photoshoot with me.

Jewerly Hanger

Today for commerical photography we had to shoot jewerly. I shoot a purple necklace given to me for Christmas by my friend Brittnay. I put it on a clothes hanger to make a jewerly hanger.

Flag

Assignment #2 for my portfolio class can be up to 4-5 different things for section A. In my portfolio review I was blessed to get all 5 pieces, but there is always room to get better. Who knows if this photo will push on of those 5 out and become the new piece in my portfolio.

Looking Above The Carousel

In Chattanooga we found a carousel. Being the big I am, and only being about to get up-close pictures of it was by riding it. I went on and rode but loved the window that was above the carousel. This is where most the sun and light came in from it. I like this picture cause it isn't something you would see everyday. Looking above and still showing there was skill a kid like feel to it.

Photo Walk In Chattanooga!

Katie, Michelle, and I went on a photo walk to Chattanooga! It was a great day for shooting. A little cold, but over all a nice day. We walked about 5 to 6 miles and got some really cool things. This photo is just of a building with HAPPY on it. I only got the "H" with the American flag. I got just the "H" cause my name starts with a "H." More photos to come along with blogs.
